Iced Matcha Milk Latte

It’s no secret that I’m a coffee lover. But I also don’t mind a good tea latte every now and then. I’m excited to be sharing an iced matcha milk latte! – It’s super simple and only takes a minute or two to make.

Iced Matcha Milk Tea Latte - Noodoso

What you’ll need

2 tsp Matcha
8 oz Cold Water
8 oz Frothed Milk

Scoop the matcha into a bowl, add cold water, whisk with a frother or matcha whisk until foam appears and the matcha is fully mixed (You can also shake it in a cocktail shaker with ice). Then pour your matcha over ice, add frothed milk to the top, and you’re done!

I stuck a straw in there and it was gone in the same amount of time it took to make. SO MUCH YUM!

  • The only bad thing about making a matcha latte is that I was told by my trainer the antioxidant properties adhere to the fat in the milk rendering them ineffective. Still one of the yummiest drinks I learned to make as a barista at Teavana!

      • I think it definitely depends on personal preference. Although, the only way to truly get all the benefits of the tea is to substitute the milk for water. Making it that way iced is just as tasty. I definitely recommend giving it a try! πŸ™‚ Thanks for reading, Star! xo

    • Thanks for reading Melissa! To be completely honest, I really only drink matcha lattes because I like the flavor. Any antioxidant properties for me are just a little added bonus. haha! Although I can see why that may deter some people from making them.

      It makes complete sense though, as milk really isn’t the healthiest thing to begin with. I’d recommend substituting the milk for water – another one of my favorite ways to enjoy matcha! Yummy! πŸ™‚
