Last night Cody and I were having dinner with my mom when I started having chest pain. This is a fairly normal occurrence, so I didn’t think much of it. Unfortunately, it started to increase at a rapid rate, more so than normal. At a certain point I knew we would end up in the ER, so we left dinner and drove over.
I thought it would be fun to document my journey through oils using a weekly oil diary. Some weeks I may skip, if I’m traveling (or just too busy), but for the most part, I would like to make this a weekly habit. Not only will it give me a way to share with you, but also a way for me to look back on my growth.
Please note: I am on the Felicity Jane creative team and received this kit for free for creative team purposes, not including this post. All opinions are my own and I will only promote products I know, use, and love. Thank you for supporting the partnerships that make this space possible.
Boy oh boy, I truly thought the day would never come that I love a kit as much as I loved Felicity back in September. But friends, IT HAS HAPPENED! Now, I love all the kits that Jeana designs, she’s so talented, but every now and then there is a kit that makes my heart feel like it’s going to explode with happiness. The last time that happened was in September.
Well, this month’s Caroline kit has done it again!!!
I’m a big fan of using products in creative ways and scrapbooking on a budget. Although I’m currently in a place where I can let my budget be a little larger than it used to be, my “budget crafting” ways will always be my go-to.
The other day I took apart my 12 x 12 patterned paper pads to organize based on color. Most paper pads have an extra strip of paper at the top that is left when a piece of paper is torn out – similar to the branding strip on single pieces of 12 x 12 paper. The strips of my Maggie Holmes Open Book paper pad were all patterned and absolutely beautiful, I couldn’t get myself to throw them away. So instead, I used them on a layout!
Surprise surprise friends, we’re only 4 months in and I’ve already switched up my planning system. At the beginning of the year I shared my 2017 planner setup and how in love with it I was. While that system was an A+ choice, I ended up switching things up as my needs changed.
That change also made me realize that one of my favorite things about planning is the ability to change my setup as my needs and my daily life changes. For that reason, I don’t really consider myself one of those people searching for “planner peace” because I know my planning system will always be evolving.
