Thoughts on the Emily Ley Daily Simplified Planner | 2017

August 1st is here and I am so excited to start using my Simplified Planner! Last year I used the weekly version and really liked it, but wanted to try something new this year.

Emily Ley Simplified Planner 2017 - Noodoso

It comes in the beautiful navy and gold box like last year, which keeps the planner and spiral in perfect condition during shipping. That’s huge for me because we all know how I feel about a bent spiral. And don’t even get me started on the beautiful paper! It is so thick and smooth, I seriously wish all planners and notebooks would use this paper!

I have to admit, I miss the pretty teal color that was the on the front cover and inside lining. It was bright and reminded me of summer all year round. The navy is nice though, it’s sleek and classy and makes me feel more like an adult. ha!

Photos really don’t do this pretty thing justice. You really have to get your hands on it, feel the silky smooth cover, and flip through the nice thick pages. SO MANY HEART EYES.

  • I’m also interested in switching over to the daily. Has it worked better for you than the weekly?

    • Well, it’s only my 2nd day using the daily, but so far I really like it. I’ve found it won’t work as my only planner, simply because I really like to have a look at my full week at a glance – so I use a personal size Filofax for that purpose and to keep track of appointments, etc. But I absolutely LOVE my daily SP for my day-to-day tasks and schedule. A personal Filofax doesn’t have much room and I have a billion things to get done throughout the day. I’ve found my SP keeps me on track, ensures I don’t forget anything throughout the day, and really helps me get an idea of how I’m using my time. I definitely recommend it! πŸ™‚
      Thanks for reading, Deanna! xo
